Vista Hills Mutual Water Company ("VHMWC") offers SMS text message notifications to registered members who opt in. Messages include billing reminders, payment confirmations, and urgent announcements related to your water service account.
Members opt in to SMS notifications through the member portal at vhmwc.org. After logging in, navigate to your Preferences page and enable SMS notifications for your mobile phone number. By enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive automated text messages from VHMWC at the number you provide.
You may receive the following types of messages:
Message frequency varies. Typical volume is fewer than 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS notifications but will continue to receive email notifications and can still access your account through the portal.
For help with SMS notifications, reply HELP to any message or contact the board through the member portal messaging system after logging in at vhmwc.org.
Your phone number is used solely for VHMWC account notifications. We do not share, sell, or use your phone number for marketing purposes. SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, our communications provider. See our full Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
