SMS Opt-In - VHMWC

Overview

Vista Hills Mutual Water Company offers optional SMS text notifications to registered members. Members choose which notifications to receive through their account preferences after logging in to the member portal at vhmwc.org.

Opt-In Process

After logging in, members navigate to Preferences → Contact Info. On that page, members add their mobile phone number and immediately below see the SMS Notifications section. Each notification type has an individual checkbox that the member must explicitly enable. No SMS messages are sent until the member adds a phone number and opts in.

Below is the exact opt-in interface members see on the Contact Info tab of their account preferences, immediately below their phone number:

Receive immediate SMS when urgent or emergency announcements are published

Final Billing Reminder

Receive an SMS reminder 1 day before your invoice is due

Daily Digest

Receive a daily SMS summary of new announcements and unread messages

By enabling any SMS notification above, you consent to receive text messages from Vista Hills Mutual Water Company at the phone number shown. Message frequency varies based on your selections.
